Our Initiatives

Centralized Solar Plants

Decadal mission to power NGOs

Centralized community solar installations to remove electricity cost barriers for NGOs so donations go directly to programs.

Rooftop Solar for NGOs

Lower bills, redirect savings

Rooftop solar systems are installed on NGO buildings so they can re-allocate saved electricity costs to core mission work.

Rainwater Harvesting

Replenish water, boost incomes

Well-recharging techniques replenish wells and help farmers increase cropping intensity and incomes; SEVAIndia works with technology partners to scale this approach.

Kumarappa Gram Swaraj Sansthan : Rain water harvesting
uses direct recharge technique for artificial recharge is a simple and widely used method for ground water recharge. This is an innovative concept to increase water availability in wells of low water table areas through recharging of wells by diverting surface water. Direct well recharge technique combines common rainwater harvesting practices with innovative practices to replenish ground-tables and aquifers with naturally filtered rainwater.
